There are, at least for me, two kinds of colds: the knock-you-on-your-ass kind of cold where you feel exhausted and can't really move or do anything beyond feebly reach to your box of Kleenex, and the irksome kind of cold where you mostly feel fine but you can't stop sneezing and also breathing through your nose is unnecessarily difficult.
Thankfully, I've got the second kind: life is slightly inconvenient but if the worst part of my day-to-day wellbeing is that I need to pick up more Kleenex the next time I go grocery shopping then I suppose I am incredibly, incredibly fortunate.
In distinctly non-cold news, I wrote this week about digital nesting, a term I totally made up as something of an antonym to the digital nomadic trend.
Some other stuff:
- I'm reading I Remember, Joe Brainard's memoir. I'm not quite finished, but it is the most unique book I've ever read: the My Dinner With Andre of books. (It's also extremely fun, and exudes a timeless warmth. I recommend it.)
- I recently started using the app Ship, a macOS app for handling GitHub Issues. If you use GitHub in any capacity, I highly recommend checking it out. Even if I were to pretend that I hadn't spend the past few years pining for a product exactly like this, I would still be blown away by how considerate and polished it is.
- One Hundred Scenes of Kobe is my new candidate for best web page on the entire internet. They're all just so beautiful.
Happy Sunday. I hope you remember something warm.
