Hi!
I wrote a small post about using your tools. Read it: it's small and, I think, important.
Some other miscellany:
- DJ Okawari released a new album, after six years! You can listen to it here -- it is mellow, pleasant Japanese hip hop that works particularly nicely on a Sunday like today, where it is chilly and sunny and not particularly momentous.
- I'm in the process of writing technical posts again after a ~two year hiatus. This feels weird: the most widely-read pieces of mine are technical (hello to all of you who joined this newsletter because of a Python post) but those pieces have felt so insincere to write -- as if I was writing them not because I cared about the topic, but because I wanted to establish myself as someone who was a capable technical writer. I probably won't share most of them on this newsletter (I mean, they're really niche) but it feels good to be publishing that kind of stuff again, like going for a bike ride after several years of rust.
- I've started reading The Warmth of Other Suns, which so far is rich and daunting and powerful.
Have a great Sunday. I hope your waves are good.
